Maybe it was the catnip. Or maybe it was a wish to be adored and pampered. Whatever it was, Dougy hopped onto my computer desk and took over. What a pest!
Dougy’s horns are up.
I should expect trouble!
“Acting innocent…”
Yeah, you bet!
“What’s up, Dougy? Why are you perched there?”
Dougy ignores me, but he takes over my work zone. I can’t ignore him!
“Was ist los, Douglas? Why do you torment me so? Eh!?”
Quietly he just sits there, 10+ pounds of resistance.
“You talking to me, human?!”
Dang, the impudence of this cat!

What a cutie! He looks a lot like my dear Mr. M and I admit that if he had shown such interest in my keyboard, I would be tickled pink.
It was OK when he was kitten, but he’s big enough a cat now that he really takes over the spot!
Rom had a keyboard fetish, too … instead of argue property rights, I gave him an old keyboard … he was thrilled to have his very own.
What a clever idea! I guess most of us have an old keyboard or two to sacrifice to the happiness of our cats! I know I have one that came with the PC. I replaced it with a wireless one.
Rom and I had an L shaped desk – I put his keyboard in front of the window, so he would sprawl on it and chat with wildlife, while I worked in peace/
Mine’s L-shaped, too. The bird viewing shelf is against the wall so the boys can bird watch in comfort. Of course, they have a different idea about that, as you can see in today’s photos, where Andy’s on top of a mini-stereo.
I was wondering what that stereo was … at first, I thought it was a printer, but it didn’t look quite right.
The printer in nearby.
Ah! I just use CD’s – your office is very swank 😉
Blank DVDs…but I do have an extensive music CD collection elsewhere in the room and another room….
My husband has a lot of music too — think he said his collection is over a tetra-byte.
Mine are in old fashioned CDs and is somewhere between 5000-6000 CDs, mostly Classical, Baroque, EarlyRromantic, with a nice selection of Jazz.
I have no idea how many actual CDs he has, but there are a lot. Mainly blues and rock’n’roll.
My collection just sort of, um, got out of hand…! LOL!
So did my husbands … he has over 2 dozen guitars, too.
Fortunately, mine’s only the CDs. I can’t imagine where I’d put anything else!
You are very lucky! We have music related things everywhere… of course, I sort of have books in every room, too.
CDs and cat toys…. that’s the mess here!
Now you know they have to keep us inline and remind us that we simply are allowed peace in their homes, and is we think for one minute we have our own space, we are quite mistaken.
Ha! Ha! How true!
Reblogged this on MoéGrrL.
I believed it was Andy’ s place ???? Oh! La! La!
In friendship

Andy likes to perch on my PC, and Dougy likes to take over my computer desk work space. Andy also likes to sleep on that shelf behind Dougy. He hides behind my all-in-one machine, where he can watch me and (he thinks!) not be seen by me. LOL!
I’m sorry but the first thing that struck me was how tidy your desk is. I think I’m involved with too many things. I have to clean this up.
Dougy is trying out for a part in the movie….Taxi Driver. I hear they’re thinking about making an up to date version.

I hate to think what yours looks like if you think mine looks neat. LOL!
I know….mine is a disgrace. I will tidy today…I’m feeling quite guilty.
You can see what mine looks like in today’s (10-20-15/ Post 919) post. Not a pretty sight…!
I love the horns 🙂 He is so adorable, I would stop everything to cuddle him.
He’d fight being cuddled. (He’;s a boy after all!) BUT, I guarantee he is a wonderful cuddle for as long as you can keep him trapped in your arms! Same with Andy, though he lets me hold him longer than Dougy does, thanks, I think, to the daily medicine routine. He’s just used to being held more.
Of course, Doug – IT’S A MOUSE!!!
LOL! Of course!
Dougy is a pest-control officer on duty, not a pest … really, Doug, you should know by now.
I couldn’t use my computer as long as he perched where he did! When he was a kitten, he did this, and he didn’t take so much room, but now he sprawls over all the prime turf. If my hand is there on the mouse, well, tough: It gets covered by kitty!
Kitty is top priority, you should know this by now, too 😉
Ha! Ha! Of course! I have two little princes in this house, and they demand attention!
Now you are getting into the mood … Bow to our feline overlords.
All hail the kitties!
