Andy minds his own business when…
…Dougy shows up but doesn’t cause a ruckus.

Andy is incredulous!

Hee! Hee! Combing Dougy’s ruff outwards gives him an especially dramatic look. Of course, it confuses the heck out of my smart phone camera – it can’t figure out what to focus on, Dougy’s face is so…floofy!
Dougy is fascinated by the image on the screen…

…until the sci-fi monster computer comes on. It wants to have a baby with the woman scientist. Hunh?!
So it is off to explore more interesting places. Yeah, and to have a little snack of dry kitty food, if you must know.

Besides, the screen images are getting too bizarre, even for an adventuresome kitty boy!

“Guess what, Dougy?”

“You and Andy have an appointment with your veterinarian!”
Yes, it’s time for Andy and Dougy to get their rabies and distemper update shots. Andy gets to have his blood pressure checked, too, something he hates when they do it on his tail. (I’ll insist they use his foot, which he hates a little less.) Time to see if they are in the right weight range for their age, too. Yes, this will be their annual check-up!
Sometimes Dougy just can’t have his kitty brother in his field of view without being upset. Andy couldn’t care less!

Dougy thinks his world is topsy-turvy, what with Andy intruding (sort of) in his space! Andy pretends not to be aware of his brother’s upset.

“La! La! La!” Andy works the room with his insouciance! Dougy’s fuming. What does he have to do to get Andy out of his view???

The solution? Dougy leaves the room. The guest bedroom is all his. Let Andy have the stacked carriers!

Hey! It’s the simple pleasures that keep Andy and Dougy entertained! Andy played “ribbon” earlier, then it was Dougy’s turn. As you can see, it was a good time for my kitties!
Andy doesn’t think much of those people on the television. Yelling, saying naughty things about each other…! How’s a kitty boy to get his nap?
Dougy gets it right! Though his ottoman is closer to the television and he dislikes the racket, too, he just closes his eyes and sleeps away.
That’s right, Andrew – just close your eyes and snooze!
