One of these five photos is of Andy. See if you can find him! The last time they were groomed, they came back looking so much alike, I sometimes have problems sorting them out!
Seriously, I can tell them apart mostly by behavior and feel. They have different colored eyes. (Andy – yellow; Dougy – copperish.) Dougy has a broader face, wider-spaced eyes. Andy has a curious kittenish look, yet always seems serious. Dougy is slim, longer bodied. Andy is a fuzzball shaped kitty! LOL! Dougy is very social. Andy is circumspect, yet happy with those he knows.
Actually, the more I look at the photos, I think there are two Andys. Or are there? Even I’m not sure.
I say bottom left – it’s Andy’s trademark pensive look.
That is one of them. The other is middle right.
I guessed but wasn’t sure, Doug.
I originally got them wrong! LOL! I had to enlarge the photos quite a bit to verify the IDs. Dougy’ left eye lid is a bit wonky, which makes a good way of identifying him. Andy’s right eye is a bit weird, too. He suffered something like Bell’s syndrome, and the eye lid doesn’t blink at the same time as the other one. (Curiously enough, my right eye is the same as Andy’s! Mine relates to shingles nerve damages)
Only the kitties’ human would be able to recognize those details!
The probability of guessing which ones were Andy is p = .20.
LOL I wasn’t guessing; I recognized the look. The other photo I didn’t get.
I didn’t figure it out till I enlarged the photo to get a better look at Andy’s eyes.
I can’t tell.
I have some doubts myself.
The middle right and lower left photos are Andy! I can tell (I think!) because he has a narrower head than Dougy, making his eyes and ears closer together than Dougy’s.
I can’t see a difference. I had this when my cats were kittens. Sammy and Teddy looked like twins to me and it was so confusing.
The photos somehow accentuate the sameness rather than the differences of the two.

I should say the first one ??
Caresses pour les deux 🙂
See my answer if Google French to your answer in proper French!
I would say the picture at the top right side is Andy, but I’m far from sure!

I see twins! Two cute kitties I’d love to meet. ❤️

I would also guess #2, but the photos won’t “biggify” for me. They do look so much alike! 🙂

I would guess #2 but it is difficult.

I doubt if I’d be able to tell the difference
It definitely is an advantage to see them in real life, Maureen, yet I still mix them up from time to time.
smile…
We had twin cats. In the end we bought them different coloured collars and called them Red and Black. Bet you can guess the colour of the collars. 🙂
Actually, I bought them different colored collars but never used them. I decided not to make them wear collars since they are micro-chipped indoor cats. Dougy, however, got out once and spent about eight hours as a very cold, unhappy, terrified part time outdoor kitty boy. He was pleased to come back inside. (It cost me a $200 reward, but I was happy to give the young guy who found him the rewARD!)
Oh my, an escape story that ended well.
It ewas alarming when it happened because I live close to two major roads. The fact he is a black cat and there are ignorant people was also a concern that he’d be harmed by one of these knotheads. Fortunately, he didn’t wander far, and was found maybe 30-40 meters away from my front door, shivering in terror behind a snow drift. He learned his lesson, I think. Or hope. He’d slipped out when I held the door open long enough to get my mail.
