Post 848: just a picture of Dougy…

“What’s this…?”

Andy investigates!

‘Woohoo! ‘NIP!”
Andy has a party in his nose.

Dougy left, so Andy took over the window watch.

Apparently the bird that Dougy saw that got him all excited
“I’ll be here,” Andy thought,” and Mr. Bird will have his day with my terrible kitty cat wrath!”
(No doubt Andy will climb the screen trying to get him!)
The day started out typically.

Morning ritual: Me on the computer watching YouTube videos, Andy resting on my computer, and Dougy looking out the window.

Dougy sees a bird!

Andy watches Dougy watching the bird. Later, when Dougy’s off for a drink of water, he’ll go over to the window spot and see for himself what was so interesting to his brother.
Andy came back to the top of the computer, though. That’s his spot where he’s happiest to be when I’m on the computer.
Dougy’s still off doing cat business elsewhere. I guess he saw enough of birds from the back window. Of course, he might be in my bedroom, looking out that window, too!
I’m a little surprised Andy still sleeps on my computer desk in the afternoon considering I keep catching him there for his medicine! Yet, there the wee darling is:

All I have to do is reach over and I have me a cat, captured and ready for dosing! Simple, painless (for me!), and quick. I’m beginning to think Andy might enjoy the ritual.
I mean, does that look like a stressed out cat to you? After I snapped the photo, he went back to sleep.
Andy and Dougy adore me. Or at least they grovel and rub and purr and wrap their tails around my legs. Yeah, they adore me! And that’s a problem when both want my attention but don’t want to share me.

Andy’s alarmed!
Here comes Dougy to try to take the human away from him.
Never mind. Dougy decided he had cat business elsewhere. He walked past us and Andy got all the attention to himself.
Cats sleep a lot. Sometimes I have to wake mine up to remind them it’s time for kitty supper. Andy was especially sleepy today, conked out in the dryer, as is his recent afternoon ritual.

“…but I’m sleeping!”
Time for supper, Andy. You better get up or Dougy will eat it all.

Andy had to think about that: “Sleep or eat…?”

A tough decision for poor little Andy!
Which will it be? Eat or sleep? Sleep or eat?
He’s only a little kitty! Leave him alone!
It’s been several minutes now, and Andy’s still sleeping in the dryer. On the other hand, Dougy found a hidey hole and decided he needed a snooze, too. I guess I’ll wait to put the kitty food out.
Can’t say we got much done today here. I watched a slew of old movies on TCM channel and the boys slept. Of course, that made us terribly hungry, so then we ate!

Andy (foreground) and Dougy tackle chicken supper.

That clothespin is a favorite toy of both the boys. They decided that.
I’m not sure what I’ll have. Maybe french toast. Or scrambled eggs and toast. I’m not super hungry (having done nothing all day…!) but should eat something.
I could go for a fast food meal, I suppose, but don’t feel like anything along that line. Chinese maybe…but I’d have to go in to get it.
Then there’s always that tuna in the cupboard. A nice tuna sandwich sounds kind of fast and tasty! Andy and Dougy love the liquid off the tuna, though they don’t really do much with the tuna meat itself. Strange kitties….
I enjoy Andy’s company. Unlike Dougy, Andy doesn’t get in my way. He just perches where he can be near me, see me, and where I can reach out to rub his nose. Andy is a nice little cat!

Andy loves to perch on my computer. I suppose the heat generated by the machine is pleasant. Of course, from the top he can keep a sly eye on me, too!
Andy is a subtle kitty.
