Andy came running. Dougy already took a stand.
What’s the deal?! Both kitty boys close in…
…on Doug, their human! Andy’s on the PC and Dougy’s on the back of the computer chair, taking a kitty bath. (That’s his tongue….)
That’s how it is these days. Neither kitty wants the other to get more attention than the other, so they stick to Doug like ticks!
Dougy wakes up and there’s his toy!
A year ago today, my brother Richard died from a form of bone cancer. I miss him but have warm memories of what a great older brother he was to me.
The kitty boys love, love, loved my brother, too. They knew he was fun to have around and weren’t shy with him like they are with most people.
Andy likes watching videos and GIFs. When they are of Andy, he especially likes them, and paws at the screen, trying to make contact with that beautiful kitty boy!
“Was ist los?” [“What’s happening?”] This is a mystery and a wonderment to Andy, as you might guess when he starts speaking German. (Ordinarily, he speaks Cattinese to me.)
Too much! Too much! Andy fizzles out and goes back to his nap.
Too bad, too, because he missed the short video where I “scritch” him.
Too bad the little video is too big to email from my smart phone because Dougy is hilarious when he cleans his bum!
I tried to get Dougy involved in this blog post…
…even pointing out the resident lamp stand spider was within paw range. (Notice she’s a blur: She may be a young spider, but she knows about kitty boys. Yep, she does the “spidey” skidaddle eight step when she sees a kitty!)
So I “scritch” Dougy and call his name. “See the spider, Douglas?!”
“Whaaat!?” he asks with some agitation, “Today’s Caturday. Bug off!”
Being a clean Andy takes work! Andy spends several minutes on top of the recliner back making sure he is pretty in case company stops by.
He rubs against the joint on the articulated lamp! I think he cleans eye snot from the corners of his eyes there or maybe just scratches his nose. Either way ~ ick!

A little recliner foot rest time with me. Kitty quality time!
Dougy gets upset with me when all my attention is on updating this blog. He gets whiny and paws my leg. If I ignore him too long (as if that were possible!), he treats me to those pointy things on his toes.
Dougy will not be ignored! Poor baby!
“Good grief, brother! Get it together!” Andy can’t believe Dougy sometimes!

Marc-André of Katzenworld encouraged me to provide photos for Tummy Rub Tuesday. I protested a lack of new photos of either kitty revealing a fluffy tummy to rub.
On a second look, I seem to have a lot of Dougy photos where he exposes his tummy and a few of Andy, including this classic pose of Andy with added glasses:
