I’m moving slowly this morning. Haven’t given Andy his medicine or even “scratched” Dougy much. I’ve barely taken photos for a blog. So, I think this is a good day for some old home movies of the boys when they were kittens!

The kittens played well together, but some things were beyond control!
The kitties needed frequent baths at first because of a medical issue that caused diarrhea, not a happy time for either them or me.
The kitty boys were soooo cute when they were kittens!
Nothing worse that a long-haired cat with diarrhea or kling-ons! 🙂 Those are cute videos, especially them playing in the cat tree.
No kidding! My fist two cats were short-haired, so I wasn’t prepared for the joys of Persian kittens with diarrhea!
Very cute indeed, but I know you had your hands full . I give Benji his dinner when I bath him. He is calmer and less stressed that way.
I let the professionals give the kitty boys their baths these days. They have the proper set up and the kitties (apparently) tolerate the baths well or they’d be banned from the groomer’s for being thug kitties. LOL!
Smart move. I have to wash Benji 24 hours prior to and each time he goes to an outing as a therapy dog so it’s not doable to go the groomers. I was thinking that I need a better set-up at home as it is hard on my back.
I bet it is! Benji’s huge boy now! I hope you find something that works.

They are so cute. Its the duty of each kitten in a two cat household to bite and generally try and make the other kitty’s life miserable. MOL

I somehow deleted the email of this post without reading it this morning. Just realized I hadn’t gotten my daily dose of cute, so I went looking for it. Besides filling me up with cute, the phrase “kitten logic” made me just giggle. Thank you.

I managed to miss posting yesterday because of a balky laptop (It was doing a root kit scan, I learned later, something it does without notifying me and which pretty much stops any activity on my part.) And I felt lazy this morning, so I was glad to have videos to take the lace of photos.
Take care of yourself, Doug. I’ve had days like that recently too and just gave in and coddled myself. I for one am still catching up so reruns are great.

Thanks to the daylight savings time change, I will be messed up for most of the next month, as will the kitty boys, which adds to my adjustment problems. I hate the change, especially since it serves up dubious benefits.
They were cute back then and they still are now 🙂
They had a little catnip mousie that they took a from each other. It was hilarious watching them strut around with the mousie like they’d captured real prey!
So in the first video Andy is doing his manicure….I guess that is necessary for the cats, good to have nice sharp claws to climb trees and strike his brother.
The second, you really give cats a bath? I actually bathed my bulldog today and it was quite the oddisey to keep her still, she is now sitting by me in a state of shock and I think I might have traumatise her, maybe I’ll have to take her to a psychologist. So don’t cats hate water? You torture them……
The third, well they seem to torture each other.

Glad you enjoyed the videos! Yes, bathing cats can be necessary. When they were kittens, they had diarrhea from eating a grasshopper with an internal parasite. Kitten diarrhea on Persian kitten butts…yeah, they got baths as needed till they got over the condition! (They did NOT like them!)
