Andy and Dougy make sure they know where I am all the time. I am under surveillance as long as I am in the house, and there is a kitty boy greeting committee waiting for me when I return home from outside trips. The kitty boys never know when there are treats or play or other kitty pleasures in it for them, but they definitely want to be available just in case!
=(^+^)=
Andy watches me from the glider. Since he hasn’t had his medicine yet, he’s just outside of touching distance. Smart kitty!
Of course, the recliner is the perch of choice lately (for everyone, kitty or human), so Andy hops up where he thinks he is safe.
Dougy came over, discovered Andy was already on the recliner with me, so hopped over to the computer chair. Andy held his spot!
What Andy didn’t plan on was me reaching up and grabbing him. He still was a very good kitty when I gave him his medicine, but I doubt he’ll perch on the recliner again until he’s had his medicine. Not if I’m in it!
Your cats love you and it is comforting to feel we are waited.
In friendship
Michel
They know I am keeper of the kitty food…! LOL!
GP is right, Doug, a book about the life of Andy & Dougy based on the blog is worth thinking about.
I haven’t set the idea aside, but it may be awhile before I am feed up enough to work on a major project.
Smart, handsome boys 😻
Smarter than I want to admit some days!
No flies on Andy. ~~dru~~
LOL!
You have to admit Andy is providing you with lots of mental exercise in outsmarting him for his medicine. You two certainly provided me with a good laugh today. As to GP’s suggestion of a book I am sure you have enough material by now in the blog for a nice little picture book. I for one would happily buy one.
I suppose I do have enough for a book in all the posts. It’s something to consider.
Andy gives me mental exercise, but I give him the same!
Poor Andy, got tricked. I am sure he will forgive you soon 🙂
He forgave me as soon as I gave him praise for being a very good kitty boy, then gave him some kitty treats!
Sounds like an evolved game of cat and mouse!
LOL! It does indeed!
I love furry welcoming committees!
Me, too!
Maybe you should write a book about the boys? Something like ‘The Times and Trials of Being a Cat’ or “Sibling Rivalry With My Brother the Feline’ – I’m sure you could come up with a catchier title, but you get my drift.
I don’t know that I have a book in me, though it’s a thought…!
Start a log of their daily antics.
That’s somewhat what this blog is.
Then you already have an outline of the book. Think about it.
Pages and pages of them!
Yes your cats are smart! How long can you be away from home without a “baby sitter”
Half a day, but they get to listen to the local public radio station while I’m gone. Though part of the time, it’s news, most of the time, they hear classical music programs.
Look like you really have to think outside the square with that medicine !
Yes, Andy is a very clever kitty, and I constantly have new challenges to catch him!
Never a dull moment even on stay at home days !
For sure! It’s almost a blessing that they sleep away most of the day so I can get other things done.
